Your children’s happiness and care is of utmost importance to us and at Explorers Childcare Group we go above and beyond to create a safe and nurturing environment for your children to develop.
Children engage daily in a Forest School based curriculum with a qualified Forest School teacher. We are passionate about children exploring and learning through nature , the outdoors and the varied curriculum it provides.
The activities at Forest School are stimulating and challenging, building children's confidence and skills ready for the transition into school through a process of active learning and discovery both indoors and out. Each day, we will spend time at a dedicated Forest School area where the children can explore and learn outdoors.
Back at our indoor base, the children will take part in activities aimed to encourage self confidence and build self-esteem through child-led learning. There is direct access to our outside area which provides a free flow system allowing children freedom and choice about how they learn. Participation in these activities will allow your child to gain independence, learn about managing risks, improve mental well-being and build social relationships with their peers and trusted adults.
As part of embedding our ethos that Explorers Forest School is an extension of your family, it is very important that you feel as welcome and integrated into the pre-school as the children. We hold an open door policy at all times and all you are welcome to drop in and tour the facilities and talk to our practitioners who are supporting our children.
